A Hong Kong favorite has finally traveled across the pond and landed in London. The exterior of the restaurant is coated with high stained-glass windows, original dark timber wall paneling and ecclesiastical altar of the Queen Anne exterior sets the tone for the modern aesthetic of Michaelis Boyd's design inspired by traditional 1960's Hong Kong tea houses. Bold green and blue-grey hues are coated through the leather banquettes, geometric flooring and a tiled central bar of Duddell's. The restaurant, run by chef Daren Liew churns out the elevated Cantonese flair that raised the legion of Hong Kong fans, like the delicious dim sum, crisp roasted duck and perfectly executed bites of wagyu beef baskets to spicy soft shell crab.
