Up for auction for the RM Sotheby's Monterey sale, the extremely rare 1956 Maserati A6G/2000 Zagato Berlinetta is one of only 21 originally intended for racing. The classic model is entirely hand-made, built of a lightweight bodywork and hand-hammered aluminum panels. The classic Maserati is powered by an alloy 2-liter, inline-six engine. With over 7000 hours of restoration done on the vehicle, each component remains completely original, the chassis, engine and gearbox all possessing matching numbers. Sixty-two years later and the classic Maserati is a thing of beauty. The rare model is set to sell for $4,250,000 - $5,250,000 USD.
