Two sturdy red sandstone buildings in Germany's southern Rhineland has been transformed from a working prison into the luxurious 38-room Hotel Liberty. The prison's former exercise yard has been converted into the hotel's new kitchen and restaurant, Wasser & Brot, led by Lyon-born Chef Jeremy Biasiol. The original structure of the prison has been incorporated and preserved in the transformation, giving the hotel a modern and unique characteristics. The new Hotel Liberty is the perfect place to stay while exploring the streets of Germany.
