We are less than a month away from Pitti Uomo 90, arguably the biggest event in men's fashion.
The biannual event is taking place in Florence from June 14 to the 16th. The theme for Pitti 90 is Lucky Numbers which will showcase the aesthetics, graphics, and symbolism of numbers so expect the Fortezza de Basso to be decorated accordingly.
There will be over 1200 brands this year showcasing the best in men's fashion and the latest in contemporary style trends. There will also be trade shows, art installations, along with special events and exhibitions. One such exhibition is Karl Lagerfeld - Visions of Fashion, a photography exhibition by Eric Pfrunder and Gerhard Steidl, which displays Karl Lagerfeld's entire photographic oeuvre, including many never before seen works. There's also Florence Calling: Raf Simons in which the celebrated designer will unveil his Spring/Summer 2017 collection and a special project curated just for Pitti Uomo.
One thing HAROLD is definitely looking forward too is seeing are the Pitti People, aka the best of the best flying down to show off their amazing street style. The Portuguese Dandys are frequent attendees along with former HAROLD cover boy Mariano Di Viao.
