Yabu Pushelberg has worked to humanize the scale of the hotel's design, drawing on Middle Eastern motifs, like bronze accents, mashrabiya screens and floor-to-ceiling windows offer a cultural connection between the hotel and its surroundings. The new hotel in Kuwait contains 284 bedrooms and suites with privacy screens in bathrooms, polygonal-shaped lamps as well as soaring timber arches resembling desert palms.
