Not so Mid-Century Renovation: Marcel Breuer’s Connecticut House

This spectacular Mid-Century home by famed architect Marcel Breuer is the perfect embodiment of his infamous modernist vision. What started as a two-bedroom structure has nearly doubled in size today with the addition of steel and glass volume that mimics the signature architectural design of the icon's work. The design integrity of the original home has been fully preserved with the new addition, maintaining iconic mid-century elements throughout the home, most prominent in the main living area and master bedroom which entertain views of the surrounding acreage.
