Opened just last year, Trunk (Hotel) is the newest addition to Tokyo's limited list of boutique hotels. The Eco-friendly hotel has found its home in the Shibuya district of the magnificent city. Two four-storey buildings accommodate the 15 guest guest rooms, lively Trunk lounge, terrace, restaurant, pop-up space, Kitchen, convenience store and wooden rooftop chapel. The interior design of the Trunk (Hotel), designed by Jamo Associates, resembles a modern home more than a design hotel, giving you the comfort of home. Designed by Mount Fuji Architects, the exterior of the hotel is coated in recycled woods and features tired balconies with aromatic herb gardens, creating a contemporary and sustainable tone.
The Trunk (Hotel) convenience store offers a unique and interesting touch to the design hotel. Featuring a variety of cool treats such as homemade onigiri rice balls, coconut popcorn puffs, craft beers and wines along with a range of Trunk-branded products as well.
