The ‘Clay House’ is one of Budi Pradono Architects (BPA) best residential developments projects. Standing on a hill in the beautiful fields of Indonesia, the Clay House represents the specific character of the surrounding area, BPA has built specifically as little as possible as a means of creating green architecture. The home was built with maximum use of local materials, and the clay was used as the main wall material and bamboo is integrated into the framework. The floor-to-ceiling windows that surround the home enable a lot of natural light into the home. A swimming pool is placed at the core of the home and used for organizing the quality of public and private space, the home contains a lounge, dining area, kitchen, panty, master bedroom with a spectacular view of the hillside, two extra guest bedrooms, a private terrace with a view of the sea and rice fields. It’s no wonder the Clay House is one of BPA’s best projects, every inch of the home is as breathtaking as the hillside it resides on.
